We are in the courtyard of the complex and are looking back at the building on theft in the main entry. In the original use of the Complex, this was the Aşevi (~ soup kitchen). Nowadays, it is used as the Flameworking Studio of Glass Arts Center, situated in the Complex (see other WS photo).

This is the Flameworking Studio of Glass Arts Center. The Center consists of three parts: Hot Glass Workshop, Flameworking Studio and Gallery. Glass artists produce and show for the audience here every day. Every month, National and International Glass Artists produce within the scope of the "Guest Artist Program" in the Hot Glass Workshop.

In this workshop, glass production is carried out by free glass forming and blowing methods. Glass melted at an average of 1250° C is shaped in the hands of glass artists. It is offered for sale after cooling in ovens of about 500° C. Each of these works, which are produced without using any mold materials, are unique productions. Special orders are also produced in the Hot Glass Workshop.

That being said, we did not stay for the show.

It was possible to ascend the stairs, to an upper floor, where the inner workings of the old mill could be seen.

The waitress told me that when the renovations are complete, this floor will be safe for people to explore. They may even have tables up here!
