This is the medieval cathedral of Varnhem monastery in Västergötland, one of the few cathedrals in Sweden. It is small compared to any other cathedral I have seen and yet so impressive. It is situated more or less in the countryside, with farmland to one side and the small village of Varnhem on the other.
I wanted to catch the compact, stacked details of the building in this picture, so I concentrated the photo on this part.
The photo is just as it is, no processing whatsoever. I found out, however, that the downsampling of the photo created some moiré effects on the brick and roof tile structure - this is a case where the full resolution of the image is needed.
