Another photograph from Tongariro National Park. For this amazingly coloured lake I just had to do a five minute side-trip from NZ´s famous (and crowded) day walk called "Tongariro Crossing". But I was almost the only one to witness the beauty of this lake. They should have put up a signpost, shouldn´t they?

More contrast and saturation to the "well-known" pale stain in the foreground.
