The Montreal Botanical Garden has a large collection bonsai and penjing trees. This picture was taken in penjing section of the Chinese garden. I put two bonsai pictures into the Workshop, they were in one of the greenhouses. Penjing is the ancient Chinese art of growing artistically formed miniature trees, bonsai is similar technique, but developed later in Japan.
