Coll D'Ordino (1980 m.)

From Coll D'Ordino it's possible to climb to Pic Casamanya (on the right of the photo) or to the Bony de les Neres (on the left of the photo).

The Pic Casamanya (2'740m) is a monster of a mountain, located right in the middle of the country which offers magnificient views over the entire country. Its unique mineral composition is fascinating: calcareous rocks weathered into strange shapes, inhabited by attractive flora which give this peak its own special charm and make it a vital part of your trekking holiday. One can often see vultures flying around the summit.

The Bony de les Neres (2'211m) is an ideal destination for your fist day walking or for a family trek. It starts at the col d'Ordino, opposite the the Casamanya trek. Whereas most walks in Andorra are above the tree line, this one is entirely in the forest.

Beautiful meadows, cool forests, breathtaking scenery of Canillo and Encamp and the occasional wild boar are the highlights of this walk.
