Born in Mataró (The Maresme) in 1867.
Moved to Barcelona, where he finished his studies of architecture in 1891.
Disciple of Domènech i Montaner, considers him to be the last representative of the Modernism and the first one of the Noucentisme (artistic movement that happened to the Modernism).
