Images of details from around the Forbidden City in Beijing. This theme was inspired by a visit where most of the buildings were covered in scaffolding and green netting making wider shots less attractive.

On reflection I consider that the City has much beauty on the smaller scale that is sometimes lost in the grandeur of the larger scale.
