And for those of you that are curious how is such a picture captured here is full landscape version of my original post. It was taken from the road that was climbing up to opposite hill. This actual picture was taken probably 100m further from the spot I've taken originally posted photo.

That full landscape shot is bit too "busy" for me, it has too much information. I always look for simpler composition that in my opinion has stronger impact.

It was already an issue to capture it with 200mm, I had wished I had bigger zoom... well something to considere next time.

Hello Conrad, You've got some lovely shot here. In many cases it is really good to include foreground stones to the composition, however I am not really sure about this one. You've nicely captured the duck on the stone and that creates great front focus and point of interest. Lucie

Your photo has so much potential. I thought that cropping that not really interesting lower part will bring more focus to those beautiful mountains and lonely house that gives it human dimension. I particulary like that nice light you've captured here. Well done. Lucie

Hello Steve, you've captured some beautiful reflection here. I feel very lucky myself whenever I have a change to do same, especially with such a beautiful light. I guess that it is the main thing you want to share with us, therefore I've cropped that small piece of foreground away just to give more attention to those beautiful mountains. Your horizon was also tilted, so I've fixed it too. In general it is better to go with rule of 2/3 and not to put horizon to middle. Wish you all the best with more of these beautiful photos. Lucie

Hello, this is really wonderful shot. I just thought it might work bit better with focus only on the castle. That piece of rock and piece of tree take bit of attention away.
Beautiful shot otherwise. Lucie
