I've cropped the image from both top and bottom, then added frames for a wide screen view.
I've also applied a little shadow from softening the harsh light.

First, I've increased shadows and then added partial toning from left corner so that sky is getting whiter gradually.
I don't know if it serves your idea, I just wanted to give it a chance.
