- I am a photography major that loves to travel. I am addicted to traveling...I was bitten by the bug a few years ago and I can not think of a place that I do *not* want to go to.
Looking back at my childhood I see that I always had a camera and was always snapping pictures. I took my first photography class my freshman year of high school thinking "I have a camera, I like to take picture = easy A" ... little did i know that I would fall in love with it and found my passion in life. I have now been photographing for about 13 years. People have told me i should stop saying I am a photography student and just say i am a photographer, but I believe there is always something new to learn and to improve. The photographic world is always evolving and i figure so must I and continue to learn about it. So having said that... I love to get feed back on my images, I see it as the only way to better my work.
I love to share my photography with others and to see their pictures and talk about travels. So when a friend showed me this site I thought it was perfect.
So you know right up front.. I do not believe (for my photograpgs) in using photoshop in ways you could not do the same in the dark room, unless the picture was done specifically for that and it is totally obvious it's a photoshop image.
I guess I am just a bit of an old school photog in that way. :) - Member Since
