Intro: No great talent with the camera, but there's no distance I won't drive for a beautiful scene on a sunny day! So tip-offs are gladly welcomed. Favourite themes as will become painfully obvious; remote harbours stuffed with battered but much loved little wooden boats, botanical gardens, cobbles. Got much to learn about buildings, close-up, and abstract though.

Was forced to emigrate from the UK for work reasons, now working in western Melbourne and looking to travel with any spare time I get. Still using a little point-and-click camera, but looking to invest in my own (hybrid? SLR? Depending on whether I think I've become decent enough) soon.

Love to chat to anyone sharing similar interests in any part of the world, I have a fair knowledge of most of England and a lot of Scotland for those looking to visit there soon.
