Have you seen/read the Langoliers by Stephen King? Your picture reminds me of the movie/book. A plane gets thru a hole in space-time continuum and all those awake disappear. Including the pilots. The rest find themselves in a weired world where there are no smells, tastes or sounds...
Now technically: great capture that excuses the graininess of the photo. Is this the maximum zoom? I'd crop the picture but the jet is a bit blurred so the blue sapce around makes it less visible.

Nice moment! Fantastic picture. Pity it is blurred, but those planes just fly too fast. Aggressive cropping and presenting in the wide and small height framing would add speed to this photo, as there is too much unnecessary blue in it. (very personal opinion)

perfect moment! I am not shure, but I think this is the momento of the ultrasonic bang, when the jet reaces the sound speed.
