Here we can see landscape around Fuerte Bulnes, if I am not wrong, these trees are lengas and are called "flag trees" too cause they are tilted by the strong winds that goes in a same direction. I did in in B&W cause the weather wasn't nice for colors.

Aqui vemos uma paisagem ao redor de Forte Bulnes. Se não me engano estas árvores são lengas, também chamadas de "árvores-bandeira" porque são moldadas pelos ventos fortes e constantes que sopram na mesma direção, o que as deixa inclinadas. Optei pelo P&B porque o tempo estava péssimo, nada bom para capturar cores.

Another good shot from you, Jorge. Please see my previous critique about Chatwin and Patagonia - I get the same feeling here. I also saw similarly bent trees in the windy plains of Karpathos this summer. Great B & W photo!

Hello Jorge. A fantastic motive of full dynamics. The b&w photo pleases me very well. The composition is exemplary. Perhaps one should photograph this motive again with better weather/light. Nevertheless: worth seeing and beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Mas o P&B ficou fantástico nessa foto.O detalhe das árvores semi-inclinadas é belíssimo.Acho que gostei mais do que se fosse colorida. Lembra aqueles filmes antigos em P&B que nunca deixam de ser interessantes.

Hi Jorge!
Good B&W shot of this little forest with the sea and mountans in the distance.Seeing the not vertical trunks it seems to be windy the whole year.
I`m planing to visit Patagonia,Chile and Argentina next year,which month would you suggest?.

Hello Jorge,
I love this b/w of powerful visual impact and mood. I think it might be less interesting with too nice weather:-) the way the trees bend under the strong wind, the light is melancholic and you composed this image very well with a motive in diagonal. Superb mood. I like it very very much !

interessante mesmo as formas que as árvores assumem, e acertada a opção pelo P&B, além de eliminar o problema do mau tempo criou um contraste forte que da um belo destaque a imagem.
