Photographer's Note

Taken just inside the entrance of my friends' farm near Mitta Mitta, fifty metres from the gate at the side of the dirt road highway passing the property. By road, this is 400km from Melbourne.
The polariser was fitted, although it was probably unnecessary. This shot has had no processing done to it at all apart from the resize, frame and sharpen; it is just as taken during the last minutes of sunshine (the exif time is wrong as we are now in summer time!). Though it was only about 6pm, behind me the sun was breaking through clouds and trees, and was very close to disappearing behind a range of hills. The rich green of the grass reflects the rain that has fallen recently, even on this day.
