I like the contrast here between the red dirt road and the lush green either side; makes a very good lead-line to a fine composition. Very good light and colours. Excellent clarity.

You're making me homesick! I like the repetition of the white trunks of the eucalyptus trees. The brown dirt road adds perspective & nice colour contrasts between the green grass & grey blue sky. Tfs!

Absolute great light you captured here. It has a strong contrast with perfect saturation. It makes the image really shines, espcially in the foreground which has perfect contrast against that dark sky...ecellent.
Nice to see also those lines of trees, nice perspective and good composition...i like it a lot.

Hi Andrew,
Those aligned trees really stand out against the stormy grey sky. Those moments of sun in stormy days produce that amazing light that you achieved capturing so well.
The compo is very well done, with our look being guided through the lane, then turning to the right following the trees, after passing under that arch made by the FG trees.

Nice trees in an equally attractive countryside, but the main asset of this image is the stormy light that created this nice contrast by lightening the trees and grass against the dark clouds.

The lighting here is ideal, with a superb sky. The road is nicely placed off centre and the shining hulks of the tree trunks really enhance. Indeed the rich grass reflects the spring look. A satisfying, alluring shot. I like this one.

you'v seems to pick those glorious moments when earth turns in to eden, the red ochre road the sliding in among those majestic Gumtrees are so fairytaleish that I would not be suprised if I saw some gnomes or what ever. you done a good Postediting work.

what a nice view into the fine landscape under that sky. The line of trees crossing the shop diagonal, a road from the beginning, well placed and leaving soon and the green fields in light ans shadow. Strong nice contrasts, one to enjoy.

Seriously the lighting in one of the redeeming features of this photo, along with the tremendous contrasting bright tree trunks and long shadows on the green landscape. I would have to agree with the credit given to this photo that this is indeed one of your best that you have posted in the last little while. You and your works represent very high level of good, skilled photography.
EVERY one of your posts is extremely well finished, with all the details in place.
There is not much of a reason trying to describe lights, colors, POVs...
No use for it.
All of them are just of the fine craftsmanship quality...
I would be very surprise if I'd be able to find one mediocre photo in your gallery (???)
I may like some of them more, and some of them less, but... All of them belong to the jewelery box in a fine store.

All of them deserve applause...
The loud one...

I can see that those landscape photos are a real gold mine for your photographic inspiration. The colours are so beautiful, and the well lit foreground just glows against the drammatic sky in the background. The contrast between green and blue is well balanced.

Hi Andrew, I've just had a bit of time and had a tour of your portfolio. I picked this picture to comment on, but could have picked from several over this past year. In this pic, and others, I see your ability to take the ordinary and make it look extraordinary. Shots like this one will put Mitta Mitta on the map. You have composed this well with the descending line of Eucalypts. It's a very peaceful setting with the shaded country road and water, with lush green grass and everything capped with that great blue clouded sky. It sounds like a lot but you've presented it in a very simple way. The colour is excellent with perfect clarity throughout. Very nice work.

A nice mixture of good sunlight and menacing clouds in this shot of contrasts. Perhaps its the filter that gives the clouds this effect...

Just my opinion or my taste, but the upper right sky seems somewhat bright to me.

I hope you are well, I can see why this has amassed so many points, it is gorgeous and as I have no idea about Australian landscapes in general, this really looks like a European scene. The trees are natural with the whole image clean and crisp which is no surprise really. The pathway is positioned perfectly with perfect saturated reds which compliments the green grass. Superb exposure handling with no highlights burnt out in the sky. The shadows add depth. Wonderful countryside capture.
