Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in Norway, along a road called Sognefjell (the spelling should be more or less correct). It is a road, more than 100 Km long, which links Skjolden to Lom, and crosses a sort of artic landscape, with glaciers and frozen lakes even in july.
The area is the Jotunheimen National park, one of the most amazing mountain areas in Norway.
Despite the glaciers surrounding the road, it was rather warm, being a beautiful sunny day.
It is amazing how fast the landscape changes. In no more than 15 Km by car, one goes from fjords, at sea level, to such a frozen landscape.

Wahooo ! I actually appreciate this king of views, but, in fact, I've never been able to make such a shot. Your shot is brilliant, with this road falling in the distance in the montain. Just a pity there were those stakes on both sides of the road. Really well done, and thanks for the note.

Hello Stefano,
Very good picture. I like a lot the use of the road which drives the look to the background. It gives a good deepness feeling to the scene.
Nevertheless, I must also admit I do not like so much the black and white frame: it is too much present. For sur on this point, it is my own feeling.

It is a lovely composition, with a great lead-in to snowy mountains in Jotunheimen!
The road is seem like tape, great colours in the landscape with a fine feeling of depth...

Splendid and grandiose perspective, the road making sorts of bumps is inviting with those splendid glaciers at the end, thank you to post such a beautiful view, suddenly I feel attracted by the north, where I've never been !

...and also this one is very good, I was much less lucky when I travelled along this road in August, it was cloudy so I could hardly see the mountains. Fantastic downwards perspective of the road, crowned by the mountain tops...
