The strong colour of the wall works so well here with the minimalist subject. The single man, the lantern and the series of mysterious shadows couldn't have been positioned better. Great observational and compositional skills make this a very successful shot. I love it!

Ce fond de couleur chaud est idéal à cette belle image. Les sujets se complètent ce qui donne un tres bon resultat, bravo. Le cadre noir accentue encore le contraste.

En voyant cette photo je ne peux m'empêcher de penser à Lucky Luke et les frères Dalton... il ne manque plus que Rantanplan! ;o)
Plus sérieusement, je crois que ce mur attire décidémment tous les photographes qui passent par Marrakech car ce n'est pas la première photo que l'on voir de ce lieu sur TE. Ta compo est très réussie avec un seul vrai personnage et beaucoup d'ombres pour lui tenir compagnie.

J'ai vu plusieurs bonnes photos de ce même mur, avec cette même lumière. Toutes sont excellentes.
Celle-ci l'est tout autant, quoique plus subtile. En général, les gens attendent que les ombres soient plus longues. Ça fait plus "loud" si tu vois ce que je veux dire. La tienne est plus en douceur avec cet homme seul, traînant son ombre derrière lui... Il s'en va comme ça, avec son ombre, affronter 4 fantômes.
D'ailleurs, ces 4 fantômes. J'arrive pas à me fixer. Premièrement, il y a eu clonage ou non. Je crois que oui...s'ils étaient en dehors du cadre, les ombres de ces personnes seraient quand même sur le sol. Dans une composition si simple, je crois bien que le mieux est la simplicité. Ici, ça voudrait dire de cloner ces ombres pour les éliminer. Je suis pas très bon à ce jeu alors je laisse la chance aux autres.
Très belle capture...Je la transfèrerais bien dans mon portfolio:D

Patrice this is a great photo.
Very well seen and captured.
The light is great, the shadows and colours are super and the the details are wonderful (the walking man, the lantern).

Going through my memory, I was sure you posted more of this location! And going through your shots it is funny to see how this wall is coming back after about 20 pictures each time ;-).
Yeah, this is a nice one as well. Composition wise just perfect. Love the shadows in it of people who are outside the shot. Nice one.

Wonderful compo that you have captured. You have wonderful attention to detail for this shot (whether its a combo of front/side lighting) I'm not sure, but whatever was available, you make excellent use of it! All the aspects are working together with the man entering the frame, the shadows approaching from the mystery people and the light fixture giving a sense of scale to the wall.
Kudos, one to be very proud of!!!

Cet endroit a l'air familier ;-)
Joli jeux d'ombres, surtout avec les 4 à droite. Le façon dont ce type porte son bonnet ajoute de l'ambiance. Joli cadrage et bien sû j'aime l'orange de ce célèbre mur.

Wonderful photographic composition.
Perhaps it could have won visually if the figure of the left were a step more towards the center, but the balance of forms is perfect, as well as the color and the light. I add it to my favorites.
