Photographer's Note

Interior of the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral. This was kind of a hand-held shot. I mounted the camera to my UltraPod II, then held that as tight as I could up against a column on one edge of the hallway (this is not the main hall, this was one off to the side of where the service was being held.) A nice long shutter of 20 seconds gives the impression the cathedral is haunted. It did shock me how many people let their flash go off even though there were plenty of signs asking that nobody take a flash photo. Not to mention the space inside was so large that even having a flash firing wasn't going to give them very good photos...
