Photographer's Note
This is the medieval cathedral of Varnhem monastery in Västergötland, one of the few cathedrals in Sweden. It is small compared to any other cathedral I have seen and yet so impressive. It is situated more or less in the countryside, with farmland to one side and the small village of Varnhem on the other.
I wanted to catch the compact, stacked details of the building in this picture, so I concentrated the photo on this part.
The photo is just as it is, no processing whatsoever. I found out, however, that the downsampling of the photo created some moiré effects on the brick and roof tile structure - this is a case where the full resolution of the image is needed.

Jolie photo, peut-être que prise avec un peu plus de recul, on aurait pu appercevoir les toitures, certainement aussi interssantes que le reste de cette architecture un peu surprenante. Couleurs naturelles, dommage pour la blancheur du ciel.

Facinating cathedral, and I like your framing of the photo, still I haven't seen any photos of this cathedral from other view. Like the way you have choosen to have massive part of the cathedral on the left side, and have an open part with sky to the right. Lot of more details to comment too. Well seen.
Not sure if this sugueation would make it better, but I was thinking of that it would been interesting too see if the impression got different by croping away some part to the left, so that we didn't see the end of the roof up to the left? Not sure, and haven't time to try a workshop.
And also welcome to TE with a great shot!

Excellent and very detailed capture of this monastic cathedral. When you say Varnhem, I immediately say "Arn Magnusson", but I've never seen this church, so thanks for showing me ;-))
