Photographer's Note

A second posting from the Chilliwack Enchanted Festival Light show. Observe the following details.

Exposure compensation minus 1.7 stops below with a 4 second exposure at F13. I have learnt that its important to see the effect before you press the shutter. What helped this photo was the starting focal point from the center has a balanced star burst effect that filled the frame with a variety of burst shapes outward as the photo is taken. In the upper left is a barn outline. What also helps make these photos creative is to keep the zoom stayed for part of the exposure to highlight the original details before zooming in and out. This was a LED lit up butterfly. I find that the lastest LED lights have a nice intensity in presentations like this. Overall I am happy with this capture... perhaps one of the better ones from the night that had the most flare..Enjoy!
