Photographer's Note
Kharanaq is a marvelous site near Yazd. If you ask some random passer-by how old this place is – for sure you’ll get usual answer for nearly all Iranian similar mud edifices: “Maybe five hundred years or three thousand…”.
Anyway, ghost city is worth seeing especially in the sunset. And the nearby medieval acqueduct also.

Hi Milos,
Welcome on TE. You begin with a very interesting shot. This place is very beautiful, and itsel tell about its age. I like these curves forms so joined each other. The lighst is very beautiful and the shados between buildings gives a big relief. Beautiful and very interesting! Thanks.

Wow, that is stunning with great contrast and set just rught against the sky. The plant in the foreground gives it the feeling of an abandoned ruin. The colors are warm and inviting -- I'd like to walk right in and begin exploring. It's such an unusual structure; didn't know there were ruins quite like this in Iran, so I've learned something. Thanks for a magnificant photo!
