Photographer's Note
When I looked at my pictures after the flight we made (in a little Piper four seater), this one reminded me of something fairy-like. Looking at the map again, the little lake is called "Seewlisee" at 2028 meters.
Flying on along this mountain range you would more or less finally end up in Lucerne ...

Barbara, these views are awsome. You apparentkly did some post processing (noise-removal, sharpening) but overall it looks so good! The Exposure is excellent, too. Wishes, Tom.

Nice work--the composition is strong, i like how much of the picture pulls up to the summit on the right. You handled many of the problems common to aerial photography very well, producing a sharp image with decent color.

Hi Barbara. I just received your critique of my upload - thanks very much. And now I see you have some absolutely wonderful landscapes and aerial shots. I found this one to be very impressive. That little lake overshadowed by the enormous and very steep mountain on its right, it's a stunning sight. Superb colouring and clarity. Yes, it is like a land of the fairies or something out of one of those fantasy novels like Lord of the Rings.

Speechless beauty, amazing green moss clings to these high peaks. The colors are superb and that tiny lake must be the source of some far off mighty river.

Hallo Barbara!
Klasse Foto von einer wirklich sehr beeindruckenden Berglandschaft! Ich stelle fest, dass dir deine Fliegerei einmalige Ausblicke eröffnet, die den meisten Menschen nicht vergönnt sind. So einfach mal nach belieben über die Alpen oder andere tolle Landschaften zu düsen, ist sicherlich ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Schade nur, dass ich ein wenig unter Flugangst leide und mir auch das nötige Kleingeld dazu fehlt. :-)
