Ocer Papagolfade
Still in beautiful Skofja Loka.
For this image I used the powerfull zoom of my Konica Minolta.
Mountain you see in the back is mount Storzic, seen also here from a completely different POV. The small hill in front of it it is called mount Smarjetna, seen here. The church you see here is called cerkev sv. Jurija (The church of St. George) and is one of the oldest in Slovenia. Its style has changed during centuries from the original one and the todays look it has got in the year 1863. V side chappels lie interesting grave stones dating from the 16th and 17th century. St. George's church is part of the oldest part of the town, called Stara Loka (Old Loka) founded in 10th century. It was already called old in 13th century(!). To the far left you can also see one smaller church. The place of Skofja Loka is full of interesting churches and houses among beautiful nature.

P.S: This time, panoramic format not made by stiching, just the lower part was cropped because of the buildings in the front.

Je remarque que l'église possède des formes épurées, géométriques d'une grande simplicité, mais d'une grande efficacité. Ici, point de pinacles, de statues à foison, etc. La simplicité dans la beauté.

The panorama format is perfect for this composition with the church and the mountains in the background. The architecture of the church is beautiful and I'm sure that our specialist Papagolf really appreciates it! I like the mix of light and shadows on the mountains.
