Photographer's Note

The Mosel valley is famous for its natural beauty and for its white wines: Elbling, Riesling, Rivaner, Auxerrois are among the best known whites. And this is where they grow. Cycling from Thionville in France through Luxembourg and into Germany all the way to Koblenz where the Mosel feeds into the Rhine is an all-time great experience. Because all that exercise makes you thirsty, and all the calories you burn makes it right. And the food is as good as the wines.

This is the village church of Ehnen right on the border of the river.
