Photographer's Note
6th photo from my Autumn series, again from Lake Bled, a well known tourist atraction with old castle by the lake and a small island in the middle. It is very popular among senior population because of its calmness, very good climate with not much rain and, of course luxurious hotels and casinos. For a younger person, there is a hill nearby on which you can ski in the winter and take an sledge downhill in the summer.
Of course, autumn comes here also with the great colours as anywhere else.
This is a picture of the small island in the middle of Lake Bled, a great place to go to with boat or swim if it's summer. Sometimes in the winter, the lake freezes so much you can walk to the island. But now it's autumn and it's also full of autumn colours.

Vidim,da so na Bledu že prave jesenske barve.Barve so super ampak hudič je,ker je tako gnilo poletje in so oblaki zanič in zadaj je kar precej šuma.Vseeno,dobra kompozicija.

Beautiful colourful picture of a place I visited three years ago, it is indeed a marvellous spot! Despite the absence of the sun, you succeeded in making this an attractive picture.

I have seen this place in the summer, when I was visiting Bohinj - it is really beautiful! It is more attractive in the autumn, I must say! You have composed this picture well - I like the branches of tree surrounding the island. Good job!

I have been looking through your photographs and picked this out as my favorite. This little island is probably the most photographed part of Slovenia, but you have managed to find a lovely composition. The trees which frame the castle are full of beautiful colours. I will be visiting Slovenia as part of my upcoming European camping trip and you have wet my appetite with this lovely image.
