Photographer's Note
Before fall hits us (actually it already did) with its dark evenings, I thought it would be nice to have some spring light. Green does my eyes good and I also hope that you enjoy it.
This picture was taken on a flight back from a little round trip, shortly before landing on Buttwil Airfield ... a small grass strip and a rather demanding one for pilots not familiar with the area.

We have only little aerial pictures on TE, and this is a good work. I like the inclusion of the gray part to the left, so that not everything is of the same colour (green) as you say in your note.

Oh, man! I like the graphic elements of this photo. Youcomposed it just right! It reminds me of the painting of Wayne Thiebaud or Richard Diebenkorn. Would you mind if I make a painting based on this photo? It will not be exactly the same. I will send you a photo if i ever get to do it.

I really enjoy and appreciate the photos you took from the air. Flying is a joy that I missed due to my age and the Vietnam War. It's a great pleasure, and a luxury to be on a small aircraft at low altitude.
Maybe you didn't evaluate your opportunity enough. Look: Benno won't need a better aircraft, but you should make the best out of the photographic chances he offered by using a more professional camara with better lens. If you don't take my recommendation, 5 years from now you will regret.
I am enclosing a workshop to tell you how good your shot is — just a little more care via post-processing. Imagine this has been photographed with "raw" on a more-pixels-camera, you can record many details. Otherwise, you waste your golden chances.
