Old Macedonian House, Ohrid region, Macedonia
Old Macedonian house in the village of Slatino, located in the southwestern part of Macedonia. There are some great pictures of old Macedonian, stone build houses and buildings in rural parts of the country on TE, see Theme: Old Macedonian Houses.
The old houses in Slatino (Debarca) date mostly from the 19th century. They typically have two stories: ground floor, built with thick stone walls, serves as storage space and upper floor or the living quarters, built of wood and mortar.

Hi Anastazija,
I like this shot. It just seems to pull you back in time. Perhaps I'd have left in the tip of the roof, but other than that it's a great shot, with great sharpness.
