route 6 is a very lightly traveled highway with some beautiful scenery. i mainly took this image of the clouds and looked for a forground to compliment the clouds.

Incredible clouds, they look so heavy that they have difficulty getting higher in the sky. Colors, sharpness are A+. Since there is not too much mountain I would crop a little at the top, down to the whitest cloud, just to better balance the pic.

another great landscape, the sky is so blue and clouds so heavy.. i like the perspective here, plenty of the sky and the small stripe of mountains at the bottom, nice shot

Another amazing cloudscape. For my own
own interest, I applied contrast masking to this and I was surprised by the difference it makes, particularly to the immediate foreground. I might also mention that IMO a square format (roughly from the 'w' in tworivers to the 'h' in photographer's, if you see what I mean) could be even more effective by accentuating the height of the clouds -- but I realise this is very subjective. A really appealing photograph.

Boy does this photo ever jump out at you when you click on it!....spectacular with the whites and blues.The foreground does compliment the clouds very well.
