Photographer's Note
traveled to california this summer by car and the clouds really cooperated for photos. this is taken near highway 395 which runs down the eastern side of the siera-nevada mountains. some spectacular views along that highway.

Hum...I must say this is a spectacular image.
We can really feel the vastness before you when you hit that button. Nice how everything being in focus we can feel the depth of the landscape miles away. Very pure photo!

Grand! The blue and whites are so vivid and the shadows of the clouds on the mountains are so well defined! This picture defines Big Sky Country. Thank you!

Majestic landscape with impressive cloud formations. Interesting play of shadow and light over the landscape. However, I think it could be even better with a little help from NeatImage, so I made you a workshop - only to discover you haven't turned on this feature. If you want to see the result, you'll have to turn it on ;-)

Beautiful picture, and beautiful No.395 from LA to magic Mono country! What a landscape! But, to my taste you exaggerated a bit (sharpness, contrast of the clouds). The clouds literally 'pop-out', although being always distant, puffy objects. I believe the picture would profit with slightly 'less work' on the clouds.

Great picture. It is too sharp though, nontheless, it is still pretty. There is movement as a result of great colors and texture of the cloud.

This really is a fabulous landscape! Worthy of the best Western Movies.
Clouds are great with their shapes and contrast of white against blue. They also give a very good notion of distance and perspective because of the decreasing size of them.
Besides that the rough mountains add an extra interest with their texture and the shades of the clouds.
To finish, the orange planes really goes well with the bliue and white.

Beautiful, the clouds and their shadows add texture on a different level. The colors are excellent also.
