Beans planting
January is the month when plumtrees were in full bloom. Their white flowers made a strong and beautiful contrast agaisnt the blue sky and the red soil where the H'mong minority people in Sa Pa prepared their beds for beans planting.

Very nice settign here. I like how you have shot this from above them looking down. I gather this field is in layers on a hillside. I guess the ox is replacing the tractor.

The intimacy of this high farming landscape really comes through in this picture - I love the colour contrast between foreground and background - broken by the swathe of blossom - nice to see this family at work with their animals.

Beautiful curving composition and a nice depiction of the daily activities. Despite the extreme contrast of the scene, you have managed it so well. I am tempting to add a bit more contrast to the scene.
