Photographer's Note
As you know, one of the best wellknown streets in Barcelona, are the so called "las Ramblas", that street is quite long, but the part between "Plaza Catalunya" and the sea where is the "Colon" statue, is the best one.
Many students of theather and dramatics, go there to perform his very special morionless disguises.
Ramblas is always quite crowded, and with so many people playing intruments, painting, or acting somehow.
I hope you enjoy the funny and beautiful photo!
Tech: Just lowered saturation in the background till get a Black & White background, for ehnacing the image.
The rest, the central image are real colors, they disguise like that, and stay motionless, standing for hours.

Very wel done! I like those characters and every time I've been to the Ramblas I enjoyed the mimics en the incredible inventivity they have... The idea of making the background black and white is quite nice too.

Funny pic for sure, although the scene could have been seen in virtually every major city in the world (along with the peruvian panpipe band etc.).
The composition is good and each of the faces make for a pic of its own. The desaturation of the background works to your advantage here as a contrast to those colourful folks. Criticizable by 'purist', but fine and imaginative to me!

A truely beautiful picture, a superb capture of the sceen, the back ground treatment make them stand out well with-out being over the top.

This is another very well done shot. Once again I think your use, as well as the actual skill in Photoshop, of creating the B&W background is excellent. The subjects are certainly very interestingly toned as well, although maybe that is more their doing than yours. I also like how you have filled the frame here. No wasted space, and that works for me on this shot. Good one.

Très jolie photo.
Tout comme Caprice, je trouve que vous avez eu une bonne idée de désaturer l'arrière plan.
Le sujet est très bien choisi.
