Photographer's Note
I visited seven UNESCO sites on my trip to Greece. I have shown already theatre in Epidavros, Lion's Gate in Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, monasteries in Meteora and Thessaloniki. Here is the last one - Acropolis in Athens.
There are many photos here on TE. No need to show the well-known views. So here is something surprising. Look at some elements there. Doesn't they look like LEGO blocks? In Workshops another view of LEGO and people working on Parthenon.
I like relating the views with music. Here something rather obvious:
Ce soir, c’est notre dernier soir,
demain matin je partirai.
Tu resteras dans ma mémoire
comme un bonheur, comme un regret.
Acropolis adieu, adieu l’amour !
Les roses blanches d’Athénée se sont fanées,
on s’est aimés quelques jours.
Acropolis, adieu !

Hello Malgo,
I don't really see the Lego pieces, but that may be because it's many years since I last helped any children play with Lego. So I'm not so familiar with these toys. But more important is that you show us pictures from this extremely well known building that don't look like every other photo. It's always a challenge to create something of your own, but you have done that well. I saw the Parthenon in 1997, I think, when there were a lot of restoration work going on. According to the WS this is still the case.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Malgo,
I did visit the Acropolis in Athens many years ago, it is beautiful. The point of view is showing the details of the section of the Acropolis. It is clear and sharp. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Ciao Malgo,in fact it could remember a construction made with Lego, I'm not informed but it seems strange to me that no patron of the Danish house has thought of a kit to rebuild the Acropolis ... hhaa ... 3 beautiful photos from the last of the seven UNESCO wonders you have visited, there are many photos and I really like your alternative and original solutions. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Malgo
A good upwards pov on the Acropolis showing the distinctive lego block construction on the underside of the eaves. Superb sharpness and a nice blue sky backdrop. Tfs!

Hello Malgo,
Here too you have opted for the not most spectacular photos, but for more original ones of the most famous Greek building.
I confess that I never thought of Lego bricks when visiting the Acropolis.
I have the impression that in any given year you visit this famous site, part of it is under scaffolding. However, it did give you the opportunity to photograph men at work.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Malgo.
Wonderful composition, with this great perspective from below that gives us a perfect vision of one of the corners of the Parthenon, with the end of the columns, the capitals and the tar, with its decoration, fantastic blue sky.
Great photos also in the WS.
A magnificent coloring that gives a lot of chromatic richness to the image.
Very good lighting management and very good sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
I wish you a pleasant week.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Margo,
Fine observation and adequate comparison with the Lego bricks that are all familiar to us.
Well cut photo that clearly shows us the connection of the Doric column to the frieze.
The beautiful blue sky provides the perfect backdrop.
Well done
Have a nice Sunday, Groet Rob

Hello Malgo,
They are a bit classier than Lego block, don't you think? Nice detail against the deep blue sky.
