Christmas Market of Tampere looks about the same as recent years. Town Hall has special illumination to celebrate the Independence Day. There's no snow, but we should get some before Christmas.

Hello Kari,
I think I remember this view from last year, or maybe before that. I hope people behave in a Covid safe way. Many other Christmas markets seem to be cancelled this year. "Bad breath" can fly a long way, even outdoors. But the colours are nice and the photo is well exposed. I like the dark figures in front of the cosy light from the nearest stall.

Hello Kari,
In Finland life seems to be able to take its normal course in these times. In Belgium Christmas markets are impossible this year.
Wonderful picture with the beautiful and well illuminated building on the background.
Nice colour contrast with the food stall.

A fantastic photo of the Christmas celebrations in Tampere. The illuminations of the town hall are wonderful and you captured them so well and clearly. I like the contrast with the warm colours of the market stall as well. The Christmas tree makes a good addition to the middle.

This is a lovely Christmas scene. I like the blue lighting and the tree. The red coats in the center really stand out, too. Nice job with the exposure. I’m surprised nobody is wearing a mask. It seems that the COVID situation in Tampere is not as severe as in other cities. I hope it stays that way! Take care...

Hello Kari,
This is like scenes of old, when lights and merriment were standard and people hugged each other to wish them well! The lights certainly add to the atmosphere that you have recorded, here.
I like how the brightly lit red jacket, draws us into the m/g.
Most Christmas markets have been cancelled for us, though there are lights and Christmas trees to lift our spirits.

A very well exposed photo showing the colours of the Christmas displays as well as the shop on the right. The blue lights on the Town Hall look fantastic. I am surprised that very few people are wearing face masks, with Finland having a serious second wave of coronavirus.

Excellently composed photo: the warm lights of the fg. vs. the cold lights of the bg. Also, the is an 1/3 - 2/3 share between the fg. and the bg. Of course the cherry on the ice is the human presence in the fg.
