Photographer's Note
Piazza Matteotti is the main point of reference in Greve and even if it isn't "square", it is still the focal point of the town. What makes the place particular, apart from its strange shape, is the portico on three sides of the square. The portico continues to serve as the frame for boutique shops, artisans workshops and restaurants.
Some of these shops are particularly famous drawing locals and tourists alike for their quality and diversity of goods: the Antica Macelleria Falorni, a Tuscan butcher shop that has been in the same spot since 1729, and the Bottega dell'Artigianato, a shop specialized in hand-woven baskets and products made in olive wood.

Hello Daniel,
a charming corner in Firenze, the arcade decorated with flowers and the 3 scooters added more red color to the scene.

Hello Daniel,
A lovely composition featuring this attractive Tuscan village. The red scooters contribute to the Italian touch and provide some splashes of contrasting colour. The image is very well exposed and has excellent colours and clarity.

Bonjour Daniel,
Très beau cadrage vertical. Il est lumineux et coloré à souhait. La scène est belle et fleurie et les maisons sont belles. J'ai eu une maisons près de là pour une petite semaine et j'ai adoré.

I like the balance between the pink flowers and red motor-bikes. It's a nicely elegant composition of mainly very pretty buildings seen from a good angle. The light and colours are superb.

Beautiful and colourful picture of this place in Greve in Chianti.
Funny to see the red mopeds of the youth the town at this focal point, but the boys and girls are disappeared for the photo. Afraid you published it on Facebook.
I think this is a scene I can imagine to belong to Chianti

Hello Daniel, My compliments for your very informative note on this photo.
This is a very colorful presentation with the flowers in the boxes above the street and then the bright red motor bikes or motorcycles in the parking area. This looks like a very comfortable and serene place to visit. I have always been a fan of Tuscany for their shops, art and food. Great place to spend some time.

A really nice photo of this row of houses and arches. The light came from a great angle adding a nice play of light and shadow to the facades. The flowers on the balconies and the red scooters add some extra appealing colours to the pastel tones of the walls.

Del resto, sostituendo i cavalli alle moto presenti, si potrebbe essere tranquillamente in un'altra epoca.
