Well seen, even better handled. You made the best possible use of a difficult light situation. Great depth of field, the trulli look physical as if they could be grabbed from the photo.

Beautiful same style roof-tops and chimneys from a higher point, a returning pattern that made this place so unique.
Distinct contrast with green, people around and uphill's beyond the village.

I like very much the point of view, which offers an excellent perspective through these curiously designed houses. The crowd of people offers a secondary focal point and helps enliven the scene. Very good rendering of the textural detail.

Hello Chris,

This shot immediately attracted my attention!
What an amazing place!
I don't think I have ever heard of 'trullo' before!
They make a remarkable picture!
What I found surprising was the square houses but conical roofs! Usually, conical roofs are on circular buildings!
Does 'bees', 'busy' and 'hives' spring to mind.

You did well to crop the uninteresting sky.
There is so much of interest in the rest of the shot, sharply captured and with a fine sense of depth.

Hi Chris. Most interesting POV which allows us to admire the architecture from all angles and reveals the roof structure at close range. I wonder if this has become an uninhabited village apart from some tourist shops, for if people are actually living here as in the old days, they would go bonkers with all these intrusive and loud tourists. How could an old woman sit outside and enjoy the warmth of the sun with everyone gawking at her and trying to take a photo surreptitiously or otherwise. Regards. Klaudio
