Photographer's Note
This is exactly what I imagined Japan. It is in Shirakawa area of Gion, which runs along the Shirakawa Canal. The canal is lined by willow trees and high class restaurants, somewhat quieter and more scenic than Hanami-koji Street part of Gion.
