Photographer's Note

At 5mtrs.x 2mtrs. The Nutshell is the smallest pub in Europe. It is a timber-framed Grade II listed building dating back to The Middle Ages. The building was previously an ironmongers and then a greengrocers before becoming a beerhouse in 1873. In the 1950's 42 Cambridge students squeezed in, however the current record stands at 102 people plus a Jack Russell dog called Blob set on 10th March 1984.
