People and shadows
Sunset or sundown is the daily disappearance of the Sun below the western half of the horizon, i.e. at an azimuth greater than 180 degrees, as a result of Earth's rotation.
The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment when the trailing edge of the Sun's disk disappears below the horizon. The ray path of light from the setting Sun is highly distorted near the horizon because of atmospheric refraction, making the sunset appear to occur when the Sun’s disk is already about one diameter below the horizon. Sunset is distinct from dusk, which is the time at which the sky becomes completely dark, which occurs when the Sun is approximately eighteen degrees below the horizon. The period between sunset and dusk is called twilight.

Hello Costantino,
Very atmospheric image with an air of mystery to it. I like the warm colours and the blend of silhouettes. The presence of some slight noise contributes to the mood and is not unpleasant.

una proposta originale, molto enigmatica e proprio per questo, avrei tagliato la parte del cielo, concentrandomi sull'incontro delle due figure ed il riflesso, ma, ovviamente, è un mio modo di vedere.

μια όμορφη και ενδιαφέρουσα εικόνα που προέκυψε από την παρατηρητικότητα, την εμπειρία και την ετοιμότητά σου. Μου αρέσει πολύ το βάθος, η λαμπρότητα του ηλιοβασιλέματος και ο τρόπος που συσχετίζονται οι δύο πρωταγωνιστές του πρώτου πλάνου - ο διαβάτης στέκεται μέσα στον κύκλο της σκιάς της ρόδας του ποδηλάτη. Τα βαθιά χρώματα είναι υπέροχα και έχουν συνδυασθεί πολύ καλά με τις σκιές. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

A beautiful sunset, made more interesting with the addition of the figures, to create silhouettes and shadows. The figures anchor the f/g whilst the horizontal layers draw the attention into the distance, like steps.

You captured a very special moment here as the golden light creates this very appealing shadow. Very apt title too, as the man in the foreground wakls right through the centre of the elongated bicycle. Very nice handling of the light, difficult to do when shooting straight into the sun like this.
