In the streets of Gaziantep, a little girl playing around with her favorite green ball. The surrounding colorful walls convinced me to take her portrait.

Bonjour André,
Beau portrait de cette jeune fille au ballon. Il est vrai qu'elle est mignonne. Ce qui donne de l'intérêt à cette photo c'est l'édifice qui sert d'arrière plan. Cette édifice de blocs de béton ne semble pas être une superbe œuvre architectural. La façon de délimiter la porte avec la peinture grise qui s'étend sur les blocs est assez original.
Belles couleurs et superbe cadrage.

Hello André,
Nice picture. The girls is "semi-posing" in a very relaxed way holding that ball that reminds of a water melon. I like the unflattering details of the door and the wall. The dark red lower part of the wall matches her clothes quite well.

what a difference 1 element can make in a photo!
the round ball is such a key focal point, at least in my eyes.
Can't help but be drawn right to it.
the colorful backdrop isn't as vivid but is equally visually entertaining.
I wonder about the composition, placing the girl in the near-middle. But thats easy for me to say sitting here as i don't know whats around you or what the circustances are in the set-up.
This is the kind of photo that will not go unforgotten. Even for me, i could take 20 architectural photos, and only 1 of this girl, and it would be the girl photo that would bring back a smile to my face later :)

Long time! Hope all is well. I've been busy and TE has not been very inspiring lately. Yes, there are still some good photos out there but there is no connection between the photographers. I see you're not around much either.
This is a good shot, and I agree, the whole environment is really cool, even without the girl it would make an interesting shot of the neighborhood, with the little it adds a liveliness as well as that innocent charm, that reminded us of our childhood and our neighborhood.
Will be gone away for a few weeks in November to Nepal.
