Photographer's Note
Was working in the Dedham area( John Constable stomping ground for his famous paintings)the other evening. Saw and captured this reflection of this gorgeous Boat-house with the reflected duck, who appears to be climbing the steps.This beautiful country side is an inspiring and picturesque place.

love this! Greco architecture in Essex (my birth county)! The duck gives the shot realism and character and you have executed this perfectly. A fascinating and beautiful image. Well observed!

Wow! I had to look twice to figure out how the duck was swimming towards the top of the stairs towards the columns. A just about near perfect reflection & one of the best I've seen on TE in a very long time. Tfs!

I am not a great fan of the reflected image, ( boring sod I know ! ) but this is brill.
The near perfect reflection, and the correctly aspected duck and weeds on the right, all with the lovely soft colours give this a curious nearly Daliesque look to your image.
Neat job ! I'm nearly converted, or is that reflected !

I love this one!
The reflection of the fabulous boathouse in the smooth unruffled water would have been excellent enough, but to have caught the little duck in exactly the right place at exactly the right time really is the icing on the cake! A real "decisive moment".
Perfect exposure, lovely colours and exquisite sharpness.

Marvellous capture - the clarity, a delightful composition and colours are stunning as is the perfect mirror reflections. Nice lead-in from the left as the duck helps breaking up the reflection and keep the eye centred fo a strong centre of interest. Brilliant shot, you should be proud!
