Lovely waterfront you show here, typical of the East Coast. However, I believe that your composition could be better. Not much you can do about the weather, except choosing a different time of the day or a different day altogether. The slight tilt to the right and the cables at the right of the photo have a detrimental effect on your image as well. Finally, the point of view needs to be more dramatic, more focused: working with the repetitive patterns and colors of the houses, or a shallow depth of field composition on an attractive detail with the landscape in the background, or a group of attractive houses in the golden sunrise/sunset light and the reflection in the water, etc. The possibilities are many. Hope this helps.
