Photographer's Note
Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world and one of South Africa's scenic wonders.
The Blyde River Canyon can be reached from Graskop via R532. The Canyon starts at Bourke's Luck Potholes where this shot was taken and ends at the Three Rondavels, which you can in my previous post.
This is two shots stitched together.

Hi Chris,
It is such a long time ago that I was in that part of South Africa, I really have to make a plan.
I like the comp, clarity and colour.

Hello Chris,
An excellent downwards point of view on this fantastic landscape that I had the pleasure seeing in person some thirty years ago. The tones and textures in the rocks are very well rendered with natural colours and good sharpness. A very successful stitch.

Hello Chris ,
A fantastic wild landscape , indeed ! It seems that the big rocks have fall down in to the river only some time ago . The POV is splendid . May be it would have been yet better with a people to give the scale .

Hi Chris, this holds a very special place in my heart - I remember it from a school trip - a very long time ago - we even did a little gold panning ( educational only).. I hope you enjoyed your trip.
You have captured the image well - especially at the time of year where the air is often hazy from all the veld fires..
Well done
Rich
