Photographer's Note
Lake Bonney is a large freshwater lake that is a part of the Murray Floodplains here in South Australia. nestled on the shore is the small community of Barmera which is where I camped out over the past few days.
Every morning at 6 am I made an effort to get up and see what the morning light can give me. This is one of over 1000 photos taken but maybe 10 or so stand out.
Tall decaying gums dot the waters edge reminding us of the once mighty river system equal to that of any great continental river system.

Very nice capture! Excellent colors and nice exposure. The trees make fantastic silhouettes and the water does a nice job of reflecting them. Congrats on a fine image, TFS!

Hi,
Brilliant composition. Great blue hour shot. The combination of blue and golden is very awesome. The silhouettes of the leafless trees is very good.

Hello Andrew,
I like the composition with the dead trees on the right. I also like the beautiful colors in the sky.
Maybe there is quite a lot of noise (on the left part of the picture), but the picture is good.
