Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone
Since last friday, in Bangkok, 100 000 supporters of the ex PM Thaksin, are gathering from across Thailand, in order to pressure the government to resign.
They are called the Red shirts...
Yesterday many of them moved out from Central Bangkok to rally at the military camp, located 20 Km north of the city.
We knew, they were passing close to our hotel so we decided to have a look... As Laurent said in his note the mood was a joyful one with onlookers cheering...but anything can happen!

Judging from this post, you thing it's more of a celebration than a protest. Perhaps the red color adds to that cheerfulness and off course her smile.

C'est vrai que ces manifestantes semblent joyeuses mais on ne sais jamais. J'aime la couleur rouge omniprésente et les sourires de ces femmes.

ps) une grande tristesse d'avoir perdu ma petite shanna, elle qui était partout avec moi c'est un grand vide, certain ne comprenne pas, mais peut importe, elle était ma compagne de tout les jours, je sais que la peine s'atténue au fil du temps.....et que les souvenirs reste, mais dieu que cela fait mal....

C'est la liesse populaire à voir ta photo en WS... Beau portrait instantané ici, on a l'impression de cette femme t'a repéré et te fait un signe avec cette main qui donne du dynamisme à l'image. Bonne gestion de la lumière et de la mise au point. De la bonne humeur sur cette photo, bon coup d'œil Marilyn.
