Photographer's Note

This dry fountain is situated near the city council of Alushta, in the middle of the main square Sovietskaya (from the word “soviet” meaning “council”). To the left of the fountain the city’s trading area is seen. Right ahead you can see the historic center of the city with the recently restored church of All Crimean Saints and Feodor Stratelat, initially built in 1842. At the right of the fountain under cedar trees there is the bust of Aleksandr Griboedov, who traveled in this part of Crimean Black Sea coast and visited Alushta on June 26 - 27 1825.
