Photographer's Note
My last two and a half days in Thailand I spent on a beautiful Island named Koh Phi Phi (where the movie "The Island" with DiCaprio was filmed). Every day around the same time a storm would roll in for about an hour bringing us heavy winds and rain and would clear up again for the afternoon.
I was walking through the town about to head for cover when I turned around and saw this old lady holding her scarf in place and the young man looking at her. I just love this picture, both their expressions, the obvious different generations. I feel like I truly captured a "moment in time" with this picture.

Hello! One can really see the generational difference in this photo. Their contrasting expressions are equally interesting. Too bad the focus isn't great, but sometimes that is how it is. Hope you had a nice time in Thailand.
