Photographer's Note

I was walking through one of Munich's beautiful public parks this Spring with my best childhood friend Stephanie. She had relocated to Munich a few years ago but I had not been able to visit her there very often. She was giving me a small tour of the city and was showing me her favorite place to take her lunch and enjoy some quiet time. There were beautiful flowers, green grass, the sun was shining, it all looked so beautiful.

As I walked towards the middle of the park I saw a gazebo type structure and saw a man playing his cello. The music was so incredible and his inensity and passion just shone through his body. I wasn't sure if he would mind me taking a picture but I decided to risk it. I planted myself right in front of him and quickly snapped a few pictures. This was one of my favorite ones. Again, I had a friend play around with the coloring with photoshop, the picture was originally plain black and white. Although I generally enjoy black and white photography, I was kind of pleased with the way the sepia made the picture look.

I hope you enjoy!
