Decorating with Rangoli
Rangoli is a way of decorating floor usually using white or color powder. In most of the Indian festivals, you can see decorated floor and court yards with this. We can predominantly see three types of Rangoli drawing:
- 1. Rangoli with Dots : Dots are plotted first as reference and then joined to form beautiful decor
- 2. Free hand drawing: Rangoli is drawn without reference dots. This is more like painting
- 3. Rangoli with flowers: After Rangoli is drawn, it is filled with petals of flowers
Another peculiar info is usually women draw rangoli ;-)

Namaskar karthik
nice colorful lady drawing her rangolis, standing out well on a neutral non-disturbing background. Nice posture
maybe a little more sharpness on the face of the lady !?
Cheers
patrick
PS In my own gallery I have 2 or 3 pictures of rangolis shot during the camel mela in pushkar

Karthik,
I especially like the detail of the fingers of the woman's left hand keeping her balanced as she decorates.

Hi Karthik,
The background arranged neatly makes this beautiful lady stand out. It seems the left space on the image is not necessary. The colour of attractive clothes like the nation flag is so beautiful.

hi karthik
I like it.
The colors of her dress.
The way she bends forward and concentrate on the floor.
She is alone, the BG is not distracting.
Perhaps I would try not to compose her in the center of the frame, if possible. I might clone or crop out the dark part of intrusion at the right side.
But a lovely portrait work.
Greetings from Borneo.
