Parc de Thoiry at twenty kilometers from Paris.
The park is very well done and allows you to see many animals, many of which are free. A large space was devoted to the monkeys and it is always a pleasure to observe.
The park also has a superb all-glass tunnel that allows almost touching lions.

Excellent detail and black and white looks great. the detail in the fingerprints is immense! I am glad you say that some of the animals are free. How about this one?

What an amazing photo, you've really stopped me in my tracks here. The detail you've captured is fantastic, such an intense stare. The scratches on the glass and hand detail really top it off. Great choice keeping it black & white.

Hello Eric,
The scratches on the glass add even more to the textures and details on this marvellous shot. Those dark eyes are mesmerising and there is a feeling of intimacy that is not found in many animal portraits. B&W is the perfect treatment for this subject.
I admire this work very much.

A fascinating image in which the black and white treatment creates a particular mood that is well suited to the subject. The detail is excellent and the image has a fine range of tones. I like in particular the way you have captured the expression in the eyes.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo, et notamment le côté très sombre qui laisse à penser que malgré le titre c'est un ami qui ne nous veut pas que du bien... D'ailleurs le workshop proposé par Nuno me laisse un peu sur ma faim car il retire une part de mystère. Et puis cette main, tellement humaine ...

Superbe Eric. Et très émouvant aussi. Je n'approuve pas les captivités même en soi-disant "liberté"...ce sont des vies tronquées...leur place est dans leur pays.
Mais la photo est fantastique. Cette main, ce regard. Les rayures sur le verre. Le ws de Nuno est bon, mais ici il y a plus de textures apparentes, je préfère.
Compliments en tout cas, je te l'ai déjà dit, et je le répète, très intéressant de voir la différence entre ta production n/b et couleur...:-).

Salut Eric,
Amusant de trouver ce compagnon sur ta galerie. Je rentre justement de Thoiry où j'ai passé la journée avec ma classe aujourd'hui.
Un regard extraordinaire et cette fantastique main faite d'empreintes complètement humaine. J'en ferai bien un ami, je suis sûre qu'on aurait un tas de choses à échanger tous les deux.
Très belle image avec un superbe N8 très bien choisi.
