Photographer's Note
First ventue with Velvia. There was a slight color shift, but couldn't believe the saturation. The green is from the lights reflecting on the water. I know I had previous questions on the catwalk leading to the lights, it's just there for safe passage for the lighthouse keeper during storms. Tell me what you think.

Great Shot, amazing colors, I really like this green underneath the bridge which contrats with the sunset's colors...

It's really a very nice shot, with amazing colours, and well composed. The green light which starts with points ans ends as a line attracts the sight to the lighthouse, and separates the whole picture in two parts.

woderful shot! red/orange and green colors make perfect match... i would cut some of the bottom part though :)

Beautiful colors, nice lines, great dark areas. Deepness and contrast good algo. Please post bigges photos to appreciate more your shots!

I think it's great, John. I love the reds and greens, the dynamic, diagonal composition. The red of the sky and the little red of the Light are charming.
BTW, I just grabbed Popular Photography, Aug. issue at the public library the other day -- a first time, just for grins checkout of the publication. On p. 44, there's a how-to article for achieving "Virtual Velvia" with a digital camera.
