Photographer's Note
Walking down the.... ehrrrr...
Driving around the city... Any city...
They certainly know how to smile at Wendy's...
Have a great weekend, folks...
Show your gums to the world...
Hey... You never know...?
There might be a Polonaise somewhere, sneaking around the corner... (:-))

What a smile! Makes you feel good just looking at it! And it doesn't cost a cent! Perfect timing. Fabulous compo.

Hello George,
A happy moment; something certainly made her laugh..
A fine composition, the man's dark, grainy, mysterious silhouette contrasts well with this woman's beaming friendly smile.
Very inspirational photography indeed.
Thanks, Casper

Good morning George!
At first I really thought that she was part of a poster, an ad on the wall... but looking more carefully I realized that their hands were contacting... Very well done. Her smile is great and your POV is excellent. The interaction between the two is a must.
I remember one of your pics being hunged up as a pizza ad. I would not be surprised to see this one hunged up as well by Wendy's publicists... you would give them a great gift…
Enjoy the day!
Andre

Great capture of a singular moment, George. She has a million dollar smile, although I bet her dinner did not cost that much. She must really love Wendy's! Great framing with the subject to the right, very sharp details and good choice of b&w.

Compelling shot George, particularly the way in which foreground and background interact, and are yet so very different.
Great.

Hi George,
That's truly an excellent POV and frame. The dark man and the shining woman, exchanging the food, are working great together.
Cheers I love it

George: only the bag gives away the seeming anachronism of this fine BW film image. High points for your work, as always, best, c

Hi George,
Hahaha, you're also playing peek-a-boo here, though your audience is a bit more mature than the audience in my last posting hahaha.
Great take!

George,
Last time i was at Wendy's i had a waitress you don't want to meet. But seeing this smile from this beautiful lady i can only admit you found the right Wendy's to go to. A big smile towards you, a tight crop, just what we used to see from you.
Need more words? A GREAT SHOT..!!!
Take care, Henk

Love this! The all-american colgate smile...and it looks like she actually enjoys her job. Convincing.
I love the contrast (in every sence of the word)...almost crossing hands here like ying and yang. Great shot.

Hi George. I haven't had much time to spend on TE lately, but I have seen you have been busy posting some great shots - most of them in your usual gritty style depicting the 'hard' side of life - but this woman's incredible smile made this one stand out in the thumbnails.
Thinking about what others have said about this making a great poster ad for Wendy's, I noticed that the bag and the plastic cup were all positioned exactly as an advertising agency director would want them positioned in the shot - just enough of the name to make it clear what the brand is, but not all of it to make it look posed. You have captured in your one shot what an ad agency photographer would probably have taken a day and a thousand shots on burst mode to capture.
Excellent work.
Cheers . . . David

Więc znaczy to nie tu napisałam "uśmiech, nad uśmiechami"... znaczy pod jakimś innym z tego gatunku ? Tylko czy mogą być dwa takie nadzwyczajne uśmiechy ? Nawet u Ciebie ? Nawet do Ciebie ? ;))))

If I was the owner of Wendy, I would canceled any publicity contracts I might have and sign right away with you! But thanks Almighty, I am not an owner of any company! So, I will look at your picture... free! :))
I am pretty sure you are a clown, after all. You intro photo is surely the most representative photo you can get. Because, she is not looking at the man taking his lunch, but at you! And ... what a smile she does!
A very wonderful black & white, the use of light is just great. She is... glaring!
I suspect it was a drive-in. Great idea!
A very good one, George!
Claire

Well... the photo in your intro has disappeared like the rest! But still, you are able to smile and laugh. Thank God!

I'd like to see some Polonaise around the corner !:)))
A wonderful one, so full of joy, so refreshing, a simple gesture having such an impact, I am also smiling all over the place while enjoying my 4th cup of coffee...
I've been thinking, what is it in all your pics, be them on sad/happy/other subjects...that is so powerful...every single one, is that love for people that you have, that boldness and, oh, well, you've heard it so many times...never mind. Thanks for being you.
I enjoy very much the WS, one for its technical PP prowess, the two smiles over each other, and the other again for that moment in time...

Some of your photos look so familiar, it's like they were away for a much shorter time. Maybe this one is particular stricking and so much of your style ?
I'm surprised not to find any critique of mine, I was sure to have written something.
Of of your best "infectious smiles" ! And again, a superb composition. Bravo !
